Biendio is from the village of Sebela I told you about in the last post. She is a widow and has 7 children. For this past year none of them have eaten rice which is the main staple of Mali, as they could not afford it. And for the past year and a half they were only able to eat once per day. She was overwhelmed with gratitude when we gave her a 50 kilo bag of rice. Biendo is in one of our Bible-discovery group and on her way to knowing Jesus.
Fatouma has been a widow for the past 7 years and has 5 children. During the day she goes on the street to beg to try to feed her family. She was so thankful, when we gave her a 50 kilo bag of rice.
This lady is also a widow. A family was taking care of her, but they've just kicked her out to fend for herself. She was all alone with nothing. She was so happy when Paul gave her a bag of rice that she could not stop saying thank you.
