The Village of Sebela

Maybe you remember the story of the formerly unreached village of Sebela, where there was only one Christian, Beni, who pleaded with us to come bring the gospel to his village. About 200 people gave their lives to the Lord after one single meeting, including most of the village council. Beni's wife was against her husband's faith, until she had a dream of Jesus and became a believer herself. She's now led over 100 women to the Lord. As she can't read or write, she's not leading a group, and so those women join the Bible Discovery groups we have in the village. She's now starting a literacy class. The groups are growing so fast that Paul just divided another group into two, so that we now have 8 groups there. Today the majority of the villagers are believers, when there were none a few years ag. Praise God! Bénis and his wife are great upcoming leaders who pastor the believers of the village. I'll be sharing another testimony from there in the days to come.
