Day 1718. Today was a holiday and so all the kids were home. I, however, had a regular day with 4 scheduled hours of teaching. After I was done teaching my first lesson at 11 am, I went to the kitchen to cook lunch. After lunch I continued working on the computer, while Randy soon went downstairs with the kids. Sammy is always the one to ask to go downstairs.

Day 1717. On Tuesday Sammy went back to kindergarten. Before Randy could come back home from dropping all the kids off, the kindergarten called him to come pick him up. He was coughing really bad and had elevated temperature, which was reason enough for him not to be there, according to their regulations. And so they came home.

Day 1715. This morning Randy took Tammy and Emmy to kindergarten, while Sammy stayed home with me, so no rest this morning. We had a good time together. Randy returned at 9:45 and left with Sammy at 10 am to take him to his horse therapy session. That finally gave me some quiet to work and also to talk to Paul in Mali.
