What a day! And it's 2:30 am as I start writing this, so I'm planning on keeping it short if I can.
In the morning we were packing to move in the afternoon. Sammy fell asleep, and then Tammy, but Emmy was crying and wanted help falling asleep. We were so busy packing, we let him cry, hoping he'd just lie down and fall asleep, as he does at times. When I finally went over to him, I heard someone

I told you I had a plan to wean the boys off milk during the night. Last night I reduced the amount I fed them, and I did not wait for them to wake up screaming, but I picked them up around midnight and fed them in their sleep. I just did it again tonight, reducing their milk further. Emmy complained a little, but then simply continued sleeping.

What a long day! I've decided to dream-fed the boys at midnight and reduce the amount of milk slowly every night until they don't need to be fed any more at night. I also decided not to react to Emmy when he wakes up 2 hours after the last feeding at 3 or so in the morning. Sammy sleeps right next to him, but his crying does not wake him up.
