Day 2076. On Wednesday all the kids went back to their kindergartens, so I got to go back to sleep for a little bit after they had left. At 10:40 am I got and got ready for my 11:15 student. I taught until 12:30, then Randy returned with Sammy. I had asked Randy to get Sammy a little earlier so that he'd return earlier with Tammy and Emmy, so Randy left right away to get them.

Day 2073. I was looking forward to sleeping in on Sunday, but Randy was working upstairs, and so the kids made lots of noise being upstairs. Eventually I got up to cook, then we sat down to eat. I needed to write a newsletter about what was going on in Mali, which takes concentration and a few hours of time.

Day 2070. I went to bed later than usual last night. What was unusual was that no kid joined us in bed; for Tammy it was already the 4th or 5th night, and for Emmy the first. This morning, my alarm went off at 9:30 am, but of course the kids had woken me up several times before then, usually with their fights. I got up, and we got ready to leave the house at 10 am.
