Day 1903. Last night it was 1 am, when I went to bed. However, Emmy came and tossed and turned, keeping me awake for a long time. Then he returned to his bed and Tammy came, and she tossed and turned and kept me awake for a long time. Eventually I fell asleep, but it was late, and then Emmy came again, etc. At 7 am my alarm went off; even Sammy hadn't stirred yet.

Day 1902. Yesterday was Friday. Randy took the kids to kindergarten, and I lay back down, but I had to already get up at 9:30, and even got up earlier, as I had a student at 10 am. After I was done teaching at 11 am, I went to the kitchen to make lunch so that Randy could eat before he had to leave the house before 12:30. It just about worked out.

Day 1900. Yesterday morning I had no commitments so I lay back down after having dressed the kids for kindergarten and after Randy had left with them. At 10:45 I was woken up by my phone ringing. It was the hospital. They'd told me that they'd call me on Tuesday to let me know whether they're doing the operation the way they'd explained to me or not, and then later this week to tell me the date.
