Day 1906. Last night I went to bed at 10 pm, and so I was up early this morning. So was my roommate. They brought breakfast just after 8 am, and I was ready for it. It was a white bread roll (Semmel) with butter and jam. The nurse came while I was eating to measure my blood pressure, and it's been good. Some time after lunch a doctor came into the room that I did not know.

Day 1905. I had an absolutely terrible night of  not being able to sleep. At 6 am the nurses gave me an IV with pain medication. Soon they came to measure my blood pressure. Then there was lots of action with the lady in the other bed, the second person to share the room with me. And then the nice lady doctor who had operated me together with a male colleague came by. She was just about to go home and wanted to check on me.

Day 1904. Last night I did something very unusual before going to bed - I actually watched a movie from 8 to 10 pm. Then I went to bed. And I slept really well, even though I had to run to the bathroom a lot with the cyst pushing on my bladder and after having had laxatives. At 4:30 am they already woke me up for the colon cleanse. It was my first one ever.
