Day 2156. I had set my alarm for 8 am as I had a 9 am student and I still needed to finish packing before. However, the kids were up before that of course, and I got up as well to start packing. Once I was done, I sat down to prepare my lesson and got myself some breakfast. I then taught until noon.
Day 2155. When we woke up this morning, I asked Randy what time it was. He said 7:15 but I thought he'd said 7:50. We all got up right away to have breakfast and get ready to leave the house at 8:45 am. We drove just over 45 minutes to the north of Kansas City, passing through downtown, and parked in the huge parking lot.
Day 2154. Emmy was up first this morning, and then Sammy was up right away as well. It was already close to 8 am. My alarm was set for 8:15 which was mighty early for me, but I had a 9 am student. I checked my phone and found a message that he had to cancel our lesson so I was glad that I could stay in bed after all and get some more sleep - at least once the kids went upstairs and it got silent.
