Day 1987. It was a terribly early morning for me, when my alarm went off at 8:30 am. I was already awake, of course, since the kids get up early, and Randy was making them breakfast. I got up and helped Emmy get dressed and got ready for us to leave the house just after 9 am. I was taking Emmy to a surprise event.

Day 1986. We all left the house at 10 am this morning to go to their last piano class of the semester. Yesterday our friend brought some clothes over, and Tammy wanted to wear one of the hats right away, as you could make the ears stand up, which she thought was really funny. We rode the subway downtown, then walked to the music school.

Day 1985. This week was the last week of the winter semester, and so a few of the kids' classes had already ended, meaning they were home more and that I had more time to teach.
