Day 1711. Yesterday was a holiday, and I happened not to have any students, so that I had the much needed time to work on the newsletter's translations. And Randy put together my scooter that had arrived the day before. I got it because we have so much walking to do on Friday, when I take them to tennis class. That way the three of us have scooters.

Day 1709. Before going to bed last night, I checked again what it would take to go to our friend's funeral today on public transportation. Tuesday is the only day of the week where the kids don't have a class, and it was unusual for me not to have any students on Tuesday afternoon. I couldn't imagine being home doing office work while Sonja's funeral was going on and I could have been there.

Day 1708. Today Sammy stayed home from kindergarten so that Randy only took the other two to their kindergarten. He returned at 9:45 and left with Sammy at 10 am to take him to his horse therapy session. I was busy tidying up as the cleaning lady was there to clean our house. Before I knew it, it was nearly 11:45, and Randy and Sammy were already coming home.
