Day 1441. This morning the alarm was set for 8 am. Tammy had joined us in bed during the night, and Emmy had come and gone a few times. Randy was actually up before 8 am, and so was Sammy, and he took him to breakfast early. We had agreed with our hosts to have breakfast at 8:30, which is why my alarm was set to 8 am.
Day 1440. I had set an alarm for 8 am, but Randy got up before that. Sammy was then the first one up, then Emmy got up. We let Tammy sleep for as long as possible, then she got up as well. Randy took them upstairs to give them breakfast, while I finished packing our suitcases. Once I was done, I went upstairs to be with the kids, while Randy started loading up the car.
Day 1439. Once again it was Sammy who was up first and was up relatively early. I gave him his tablet with songs to keep him occupied for a while. Eventually everyone got up, and Randy and the kids went upstairs to have breakfast. I preferred to stay in bed instead. Then we got everyone ready and left the house just before 10:30 am.
