Day 1881. This has been one of the physically most painful weeks of my life and it's annoying how slow-going recovery is. And it all came out of the blue! MONDAY As every morning, I helped getting the kids ready for kindergarten, then Randy left with them close to 8:30 am, and I lay back down. I'd had two short nights in a row and was looking forward to getting more sleep.

Day 1875. Yesterday was a very long day for us. We all left the house together at 10 am and took the subway downtown, then walked to the kids' music school. Their class started at 10:30 am. Two kids were missing, so there were only 4 of them, plus Sammy and the parents. The teacher did the greeting song, then they went straight to work and worked until the end of the lesson.

Day 1873. Three more days have passed. On Wednesday the kids had their weekly exercise class. I stayed home with Sammy. I taught before they left, half an hour while I was alone with Sammy, and then after they returned. Then I made their dinner and gave it to them and still helped with them in the bathtub. Then I had to get going, which was very unusual and which is very rare for me.
