HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
This morning I had to get up much earlier than usual. I was thankful I made it to bed earlier last night, and that not one of them needed to be fed in the middle of the night. They even woke up later than usual in the morning, but usually, once one is up, the others follow. Randy is in charge in the morning, but I did feed one of them. At 9 am I forced myself out of bed, so I could everything done before leaving with Sammy at 9:45 to go to the hospital for his physical therapy session.
The therapist saw improvement in him in several ways, and he did really well. But then he was getting tired and had enough of all that hard work. He drank some milk, but he was still tired. He does not like getting dressed and only stopped crying once the stroller was moving. Before we could even get on the elevator, he was asleep, and slept like a log, until waking up in the second and last subway.
When we got home, Randy had already fed the girl and told me all about her spitting while eating. Usually it's me who feeds her. Then the boys got fed, but it wasn't going very well.
The rest of the day, crying because they were tired, or because another baby was on top of them, holding, comforting, rocking to sleep, and two more feedings. Finally it was bed time, and while the boys were sleeping, Tamara would not and was crying. Many times we picked her up and put her back down. As Randy needed his nap as well, she got to go on his chest most of those times. It took a long time, and finally falling asleep with Daddy, before I could put her back to bed and she continued sleeping. In between Emmy woke up and needed to be rocked to sleep as well, on Daddy's chest, so I held Tamara during that time. That's why it's usually late before we get to eat dinner.
Now I'm pretty tired and hope to go to bed earlier tonight. On tomorrow's schedule: going to our new apartment to measure the kitchen. The lady from the building company is giving us one hour in the apartment. I hope we'll also be able to measure some other walls during that time. We're planning on bringing a blanket to put the babies on so they don't have to be in the strollers the whole time.
