HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Last night it was Emmy who needed milk and Sammy who slept through. I'm so conditioned to feeding Sammy at night that I woke up and jumped out of bed twice, thinking I heard him cry, but it wasn't true. When he finally did need milk after 4 am, I decided to feed him even though Randy's shift starts at 4, so that Randy gets more sleep. That allowed him to sleep until 6, when Tammy woke up hungry.
I have noticed that we're now getting into a routine of all three of them sleeping after lunch. Sometimes some of them would sleep before lunch, but that's changing now. That's really great, as it means they all sleep at the same time. I put Tammy in the night bed, where she can sleep in peace. Emmy had a hard time falling asleep, it took him a while. Sammy is always the first one awake again.
Emmy had a really hard day today, fussing a lot. I wonder if it's that tooth coming out. I noticed it was out a little more today.
In the afternoon we all went to the castle park again, which is not far from us, and met our good friend Charlotte with her son. We stopped by some grass and put the blankets out for the babies. Her son can already walk - or run - and she had to go after him most of the time. I can't imagine what it will be like when we have three kids to run after! Who'll run after the third one?
Sammy didn't like the blanket on the grass and didn't stay long. Emmy didn't like it either. He wanted to be held all day today. And Tammy - she just took off! Who needs a blanket when there is grass everywhere! And she kept sitting up, several times, and I took her picture three times out of those. It was last Saturday I first saw her sit up by herself. Today she is 7 months and 11 days old biologically!
Our friend also took a picture of all five of us which is very precious as there are few pictures like that.
Sammy started getting pretty cranky, and we knew it was time to go home, as his bed time was approaching. It was Emmy who fell asleep in the stroller on the way home, and Sammy also for a while. Tammy was tired, but managed to stay awake to see everything that was going on around her.
Once home we got their food ready and started feeding them, changing them, and putting them to bed. I was glad Tammy had stayed awake the whole time, as it gave me home that she'd fall asleep quickly, and she did. No fussing! Different story for Emmy who had a fussing day. He was crying, and got his brother to cry as well, who sleeps in a bed right next to him. I finally picked Emmy up, Randy held him a little, but then had to leave the house to go pick something up. He kept crying, and I picked him up and held him for a while, before putting him back to bed and then he finally fell asleep after fussing a little more.
Randy came back late and empy-handed. That sometimes happens when you pick up second-hand stuff from people's homes. We need some more furniture in the new place, and maybe we should wait until we have the key, and start moving stuff, to buy that furniture. That way we'll also have room for it. The big dining room table we bought is blocking our hallways right now. Today we found out that we receive the key on the 30th.
