HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
I was so thankful last night that not only Tammy slept through, but also Emmy, and even Sammy as he already woke up at 9 pm to have his night milk. What a blessing not to have to get up at 2 or 3 am to feed a baby! It was nearly 6 am before we heard Emmy cry for milk. I ended up helping, feeding two, while Randy was changing the others and clothing them for the day. The rest of the morning is a blurr; I did get some sleep and forced myself out of bed at 11 am, my regular time, to get their food ready and start feeding them their first solid meal of the day. We've just received a big delivery of baby food jars, as they can now eat the ones with an 8 on them, adding more different and new foods, and more variety. I put them all up and organized them, and it sure looks like baby food store! It will still be a while before they'll be eating what we're eating, so don't attack me for it!
Emmy is hard one to feed, and today Daddy was tough and simply put him back to bed. He did that with his last meal as well, and I had pity on him and picked Emmy up and fed him myself. I hold him high up in my arm, with his legs resting on my belly, and that way I can actually get up and move around. When he started fussing half-way through the meal, I just got up and started and dancing and jumping, and that did the trick. He ate the whole jar! I think Daddy might want me to always feed him, but then Daddy has to be the one cooking for the adults!
Somehow the second and third meal were a little later than usual. Sammy used to go to bed at 5 pm, but now it's been more like 6 pm, and for the others 7 pm. Tonight was a real blessing that nobody cried hard enough to have to be picked up. They all fell asleep eventually! Thank you, Jesus! Now hoping and praying for another night without (hardly) any feedings! Maybe Sammy should always wake up hungry early like last night.
