HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Once again both boys needed milk in the middle of the night. This time it was right after 3 am, so later than usual. It's always tough getting up at that time. Since both boys wanted to be fed at the same time, Randy jumped in to feed one. He went to the living room, right next to where Tammy sleeps, and so she woke up as well. Randy decided to just start the day earlier and clothed them all (which he always does).
Tammy had a very hard time this afternoon. She was crying so hard, and nothing helped her. Dental creme, food, diaper change... we couldn't figure out what was wrong. She wanted to be held, and so I just held her. I finally lay down in bed with her, and she still screamed for a long time, until she got tired and finally fell asleep in my arm. She didn't sleep long, though, and continued being unhappy after she woke up. It was only after dinner, once she was in her pj's and with Emmy in bed (Sammy was already asleep), that she was finally herself again. She was smiling and laughing with Emmy, and climbing on top of him, which she enjoys doing, as well as taking his pacifier and toys away.
What was really cute today is when Randy held Emmy right next to the bed, and she was on the inside. Role reversal from yesterday! He finally made it out!
And today I heard Emmy say "mama". He's also very musical, and sometimes he rattles his rattle in the rhythm of the music playing! He's gonna be our drummer boy.
Sammy gets cuter by the day, the more he smiles, and he's not just quieter, but also a lot more content than he used to be. It's not him that is screaming all the time any more. He just lets you know when he's hungry. I love this picture of him holding on to Daddy's arm while he's getting fed.
Tonight we just let Emmy and Tammy play for a while, waiting for them to get tired. I then put Emmy to bed, and he fell asleep right away. Not so Tammy. We had to pick her up and rock her for a long time before she fell asleep.
