HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Today they are 7 months old, biologically! Now they can eat jars that have an 8 on them!
It was a crazy busy day, it feels like, rather stressful, with no minute to stop.
At 2:30 in the morning both boys wanted to be fed - at the same time. This is my time slot to take care of them, but I needed Randy to hold a bottle into Sammy's mouth while asleep. This morning also turned out rather busy, feeding babies and rocking them to sleep. I got up later than usual, and that's why I was stressed trying to get everything done before leaving at 1:30 pm.
I did not envy Randy having to take care of the babies by himself for a couple of hours. I had prepared their middle meal in advance, but he had to feed all three, which is not easy and takes time, so by the time the last one is fed, it's already time for the next meal for the first one!
I went to the hairdresser's which was way overdue! It's amazing how much better you feel when your hair is nice! Randy took this picture of me and Emmy when I got home.
And I went straight to work once back home, preparing their last meal and doing all other kinds of housekeeping stuff. I never stopped until much later, when I could finally sit down and take a deep breath.
Tammy has a had a diaper rash (fungus) for many weeks now, and the doctor told us to keep her naked for half an hour twice a day. Easier said than done! This girl can't sit still!!! The first time I put a water-resistant blanket on the floor, but I constantly had to move her back onto it, as she would not stay there. Especially once she made eye-contact with her brother Emmy in bed, who was jealous and wanted to know how she got out. She then tried to get to him, even climbed up the backpack I put in her path as a barrier! This girl can do ANYthing she puts her mind to!
Tonight Sammy took a little longer than usual to fall asleep. Emmy fussed for a while, but he finally fell asleep. Tammy also fell asleep pretty much right away. I thought, FINALLY, as it was the first time in a week, since going to church last weekend. I thought I'd be able to cook dinner and sit down to eat. Well, after a while she woke up and would not be comforted in bed. I had to pick her up and hold her, and then Randy took her so I could eat my food. After she fell asleep on his chest I put her to bed, and then Randy could eat.
Where has the day gone! It goes by so fast, and I can barely get anything done!
