HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Today is the first day the measures were loosened, and we finally got to meet a friend again. We met up at Schönbrunn castle, us five and our friend with her son, and had to keep our distance the whole time. It was great seeing a friend again and spending some fun time together. We walked around the castle park for a while.
It was the first time the babies were sitting instead of lying, and the first time Tammy was in her own stroller. As my back was complaining last time we did this when I was carrying her, we got the stroller out today and I think she enjoyed it. Both Tammy and Emmy never took a nap after lunch and before leaving, though they came close to falling asleep, so Tammy eventually fell asleep in the stroller, and so did Emmy. Emmy was on top of the double stroller, and Sammy on the bottom. The seats were still pretty big for them, so I stuffed a blanket between their legs, and that worked really well.
We stopped at a bench, and Randy fed Sammy, while I got Emmy out and tried to feed him. I then showed him a tree and the leaf sticking out of it, and he pulled the leaf out. And Daddy raised Sammy up, all the way to the tree branches.
Emmy was getting antsy as their feeding time had come, and they just don't want milk any more. Once back in the stroller, the boys were fine. They sure like the stroller!
Once back home, it was later than usual for them to eat their dinner. Emmy and Tammy were still playing in their crib, but Sammy wanted his food right there and then. And so he had to eat it before it was really warm (they could eat the cereal cold too).
Tonight it was Tammy who had a little issue with falling asleep, but Randy held her, and soon they were both sleeping. Tonight it's Emmy who's sleeping alone in the day bed, and Tammy is back in the night bed with Sammy. It's Emmy who needs the most feeding, and he rolls around so much, he'd roll against Sammy and wake him up. Maybe this will work better for now.
