In 10 days they're gonna start eating a third meal every day, and then they are supposed to drink water in addition to eating their meals. So today I put a sippy cup into Tammy's hands for the first time. I guess it will take some practice for them to use it. She was just chewing around on it. I tilted it up a few times, so she could figure out that there was something coming out of it, but I don't think it quite registered yet.
Tonight it was Tammy who had a hard time falling asleep, but she finally fell asleep in my arms, and I was able to put her in bed without her waking up. She's been the only one to sleep through the nights these past few days.
Emmy starts fussing quickly when you feed him, and so Randy comes up with all kinds of entertainment to distract him and be able to continue feeding him. Today I caught some of it without him noticing (uploading). He's so good at it, that he's the one feeding Emmy most of the time. Tammy gets fed by me most of the time. I hold her in my arm, one of her arms tucked under mine, and holding her other hand with my left hand while feeding her with my right, and it works pretty well most of the time. Sometimes she does not want me to hold her hand any more, and then her arm is flying, and finally grabbing the spoon she then chews on.
Today they had strawberries and raspberries for the first time, added to their cereal at night, though the majority of fruit is always apple. They all loved it - how can they not, when Mommy loves it and ate it during her pregnancy.
