In the middle of the night Tammy cried; she usually sleeps through the night. It's not food she wanted, so I don't know what it was. I held her for a while, until she fell asleep, and put her back to bed.
This morning I rocked both Emmy and Sammy to sleep while still in bed. It's rare for me to do that with Sammy; it's the other two that need more help falling asleep.
We fed them all, I cooked, ate, got ready, and left the house at 2 pm to go to the dentist. I felt bad to have to leave Randy alone at this time of day, knowing I'd miss the middle meal and he'd have to feed them all. When I got back, he had just finished the third baby, feeding them one after another. Good job!
I had to go to the dentist for the 4th time to finish this root canal. The subway is now as full as it was before the lockdown. It was supposed to be warmer today, so I went short-sleeved, but clouds covered the sun, and on the way back it was raining. I was cold!
Back home, Emmy and Tammy were fussy, as they were tired, but sometimes it's so hard for them to fall asleep. Time went by fast and it was time for the last feeding. It always takes for us to feed Sammy and Tammy and therefore Emmy being alone in bed for him to fall asleep. So we fed the other two, and I weighed and bathed them and put them to bed. After a little crying Tammy fell asleep. Not long after we were done with the first two, Emmy woke up and we did it all over again - feed, weigh, bathe, put to sleep.
In the middle of all this it's not easy to find time to cook or eat; I now eat less on this diet, but it's still an effort to get the food ready, and it's not always easy. It's my 6th day and I've lost 2.5 kilos.
Tonight Randy had to go pick up the last toy - and he's glad; we now have to move all this stuff to another apartment! He mounted one of the new, nice ones with buttons and wheels that makes sounds and music, and the babies loved it.
When Randy left, all 3 were asleep, but it didn't take long before Emmy woke back up, and then it didn't take long for him to start crying. Stroking his head wasn't enough, I had to pick him up. So I picked him up, held him, put him down, picked him up again.... I don't remember if it was 2 or 3 times. The last time he finally fell asleep on me, and when I put him down, he simply continued sleeping. Sometimes it's enough for him to play with the toys until he falls asleep, but not tonight.
Randy returned only minutes later, and finally, a few hours to get things done! Randy has even started packing stuff into boxes. Right now we need one more paper from America to get the apartment, so pray we get it quickly.
And finally, the second picture shows how Tammy always wants to have what Emmy has, and vice versa. Same with the toys; there are so many, but they take the toys away from Sammy or each other!
One addition to yesterday: It was the same doctor as at the last check-up, and she said she remembered Emmy because he would smile at her the whole time. Well, this time he cried because he's scared of strangers.
She also said how Sammy is not gaining enough weight (his height was fine), but I don't know what we could do about that. Today Sammy weighed 6.04 kilos so he only gained 40 grams this week. Emmy only gained 20 grams, weighing 6.64, and our little girl hit the 7 kilos, weighing exactly 7.00, having gained 180 grams this week. At birth, they were all 200 grams apart.
