The third night Tammy and Emmy slept through, but not so tonight. I did a live video when they were already sleeping, and did not expect them to wake up. Tammy and Emmy did. Tammy went straight back to sleep, but with Emmy we spent the next few hours trying to get him to sleep, put him down, he woke up again, rock him again, put him down again... Right now Randy is rocking him. This picture shows how I was working while holding him earlier, until Randy took him to rock him.
Sometimes (most of the time?) when I sit down to write about the day, it's all a blur. Three feedings, three children, I just don't know any more. I know it was pretty hard with Sammy today, and also with Emmy. Both of them had the teething gel once today. Randy gave up on Emmy, and I fed him just fine. Maybe it was Mommy day.
It was definitely Mommy day for Tammy. She slept twice in my arms, and in the afternoon, when she was tired, she would not accept to be anywhere but in my arms, not even in the swing. I had no choice but to hold her until she slept and woke back up.
And I woke up with a headache this morning that lasted until the evening, then I was fine. This is my second day on a diet, so my body is detoxing all the bad stuff. I should also be going to bed earlier, and I want to as I'm hungry. Today, I got nothing done at all. It seems that the babies needed all my attention. And I cooked a meal for my husband tonight, as the poor guy hadn't eaten a proper meal in two days.
And, we made the decision to take the apartment. So it's the beginning of paperwork, and I shudder when I think about how we're gonna make the move.
Finally, I got the cutest video of Tammy and Emmy both laughing together. You'll have to wait until tomorrow as it's late tonight.
