8 months 11 days

Today they're 6 months old, biologically! What a milestone!
Last night both Tammy and Emmy did not feed to be fed, praise God! Only Sammy neeeded milk once at midnight, and then was the first one up at 4 am.
Today we got out this little mat that you fill with water and the fish move around on the inside. Emmy did not quite know what to do with it, but Tammy was trying hard to catch them. I felt bad for her; she must surely have wondered why she just couldn't grab those fish!
Sammy and Emmy had pretty good days today, better than usual, for Emmy it's meal time that can be tough. They had cherry for the first time today, and all three loved it.
Now that they eat 3 meals a today and only have milk in the morning, they're supposed to drink water the rest of the day, but so far they have not been interested in drinkig water out of their milk bottles, and the sippy cup is still too hard to use.
Tonight it was bath and weigh-in time. Randy had to go pick up toys for them, so he left while I was holding Tammy who was just crying in bed. She had not slept in the afternoon, so she was very tired. After Randy had left, it did not take long before she fell asleep on my chest, and I was able to put her to bed a little later.
Emmy was also awake in bed, but he has the big day bed with all the toys to himself. I always put all the toys in one corner, and him in the opposite corner, but he always makes his way to the toys and then enjoys them until he finally falls asleep. That's much better than crying, so it works for me - and for him.
Tammy now weighs 6.82 kilos (+190 grams), Emmy 6.62 (+140) and Sammy 6.00 (+90).
