HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Today I had to leave the house and take public transportation again for the first time in weeks. In fact, since the last time I had to go to the dentist. I had my second of three sessions for a root canal. I mixed up the babies' food and left at noon. Poor Randy had to feed all three today. Thankfully they were okay and able to wait for their turn. I was surprised to hear that all three ate all their food!
It is now mandatory to wear face masks in public transportation. This time I had my contacts in (no glasses), and it was easier to wear it, but it kept sliding up too close to my eyes, so I had to keep pulling down. I really don't see the point in it at all, because if someone coughs and the virus gets on it, as much as I (have to) touch it, I would definitely get it. Keeping your distance to other people is the better way to go, in my opinion.
It's a long way to the dentist. I was amazed at how warm it was today; you could be short-sleeved. When I got to the dentist, I sat down in the waiting room, as far away from the only other person as possible. After a while, an assistant came out and told me that only one person at the time was allowed in the waiting room and I had to go outside and wait in front of the building. Okay! Once the person was gone, I went back inside. I've got one more appointment in two weeks.
On the way back I stopped at a big supermarket, as we only have small ones in our neighborhood, where you don't get everything. I then had to carry a heavy bag all the way back home. But it was good to get out a little. Now that you're allowed to take public transportation for leisure, and that they have reopened the big parks, I'd like for all five of us to go for a walk in the castle park at some point.
Back home, I opened the door to the balcony, and we all went outside for a while. It wasn't long before they started asking for their bedtime meal. Tonight it wasn't just cereal with milk and pear, but there was also plum inside. Unfortunately Sammy was very upset; we might have missed the best time to feed him by a few minutes. When he's that upset, there's nothing you can do. Randy tried his best. He ended up being able to get some milk and food into him, and I put his pj's on and put him to bed. Thankfully he now goes to sleep right away; he must have been really tired as it was a little earlier than the usual bedtime. By 6 pm all three were in their pj's and in bed, and asleep fast. We'll see how it goes with food tonight. Last night went pretty well.
