I thought I was not gonna have any pictures today, but I ended up having a few of Tammy. She enjoyed chewing on my finger. 🙂
She can only fall asleep with her thumb in her mouth, and in bed she cries for a while. When I hold her, I can rock her and hold her tight and she can fall asleep fast - with her thumb.
Tonight bed time was really tough. I thought they were fine, when all three started crying. I had to get out of the bathtub fast to help Randy. I ended up holding Emmy tight to help him fall asleep. He was really screaming, no clue why. He was not hungry. After falling asleep in my arms, and me holding him a while, I gently put him back in bed. He woke up, fussed a little, but then fell asleep.
This was the second time we fed them milk with cereal before going to bed, and they had more than yesterday. I wonder whether it has to do with that. Maybe they're too young, or just not used to it, I don't know. I thought it would make things better to feed them cereal. Let's see how they sleep tonight. Last night Tammy woke up early for milk and then again 3 hours later. It was Emmy who slept through the night, and Sammy only needed milk once.
For lunch they also had new foods - rice and tomato (it was chicken with vegetable rice). Tammy loved it and ate the whole glass. The boys were not as excited and had some leftovers.
I now take their clothes off and hold them in my arm to feed them - it works best for me. The food gets all over them and me, and when we're done, I just give them a quick bath to wash it all off. The cereal tonight was so liquid, I had it running down my whole body to my feet. And it was really sticky, so I needed a bath myself! Randy prefers leaving their bodies on and putting them in the high chair with a bib, and that works for him.
