HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Today they are 5 months old (had they been born on their due date)! Happy biological birthday! I guess we'll be celebrating two birthdays every year. 🙂
It's gonna stay warm for a while now - thank God - so we took another little trip to the balcony. I put a hat on Emmy's head to protect him from the sun, but he pulled it right off.
Sammy doesn't lift his head up enough in bed (I wished he could still go to physiotherapy!), so every time we see him do it, it makes us happy.
Sometimes I work at my desk and suddenly hear Tammy squealing and Emmy laughing, as I did today. It's so much fun to watch Emmy laugh at his sister every time she looks at him. I captured a little bit of it on video today.
They didn't have any new food for lunch today. For those critical, we are getting better at things not getting quite as messy. Sometimes they move less than others. I always take their clothes off now, as it's much easier to clean them afterwards. Randy puts a big plastic bib on. I fed Tammy the second day in a row, and it went great. I was holding her in my arms instead of putting her in a chair.
For their birthday, they received their first cereal before going to bed tonight! I decided to start small, with just two heaped spoons of wheat with milk. Tammy loved it, and she would have eaten more, Emmy as well. Sammy wasn't that sure. Tomorrow we'll be feeding them more of it. What's practical is that we can take their clothes off before, as I put their pj's on after. As for that making them sleep through the night, Tammy had her first night meal (milk) earlier than ever tonight!
