HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
When Emmy is tired, he gets really cranky and fusses and has a hard time going to sleep. Tammy cries until she finds her thumb and puts it into her mouth. Emmy needs a pacifier, but it often won't stay in his mouth. When I pick him up and hold him, put a pacifier in his mouth, and just hold him while he fusses, he finally quits fussing and falls asleep. He also often falls asleep while drinking his milk. Today he slept in my arms three times. When Tamara cries too hard, I also hold her and let her fall asleep in my arms. Unfortunately they wake up when you try to put them to bed.
Because I feed them at night, and recently I've also been involved in ALL the feedings in the morning, I was really tired this afternoon and had to lie down again myself - with Emmy. I didn't get anything done until they were in bed for the night tonight.
Since it's finally warmed up, we went out on the balcony this afternoon for a little bit, and they enjoyed the change of scenery.
Today they had two new foods - corn and turkey (with potato). A thanksgiving dinner! Tammy loved it, but the boys only ate half a glass each. I enjoy making a meal plan for them, deciding when to feed them what, and trying to bring variety and logic to it. Now I'm looking forward to feeding them cereal before going to bed! Then we have two messy food times per day!
