HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 2069. This was not a typical Friday. Randy was going to leave with Sammy and Tammy, but instead he left with the boys. Sammy wanted Emmy to come along, so he went with them to take Sammy to his kindergarten, then Randy and Emmy returned. Randy then left with Tammy to take her to an office of the health department where they remove lice from people's hair. As nothing we have done at home has worked, and the kindergarten had suggested it, it was our last resort. They treated her hair, then gave her a certificate that she's lice-free so that she can go back to kindergarten. I now have to check all the kids daily to make sure they stay lice-free.
My alarm went off at 9:30 am as I had a 10 am student. Emmy was the only one at home with me, and he was on his tablet. I then taught until 12:30, with a short break in between. During that break I put a pizza into the oven, and we also still had some leftovers in the fridge. I had not planned on feeding 4 people instead of two today, but there was enough for everyone. Randy and Tammy returned home at 11:30, while I was teaching my second student. Randy ate some of the pizza that was ready, then left to pick up Sammy. After I was done teaching at 12:30, Tammy and Emmy and I also had lunch. Then Randy and Sammy returned.
At 1 pm Randy left again, this time with Tammy and Emmy, to take them to their 2 pm tennis class. Sammy and I stayed home. I was extremely tired and soon reached my limits after having made their dinner sandwiches and gotten my bag ready for us to leave. I then told Sammy I needed some rest and lay down. However, Sammy doesn't get it. So far he's still the center of the universe and only he counts. Every few minutes or less he wanted something from me. Then he must have waited a couple minutes more. When he called my name again, it was 2:50 and time to get up and get ready to leave the house.
Just after 3 pm we left; it was still raining like it had all day. We walked to the subway and rode it to the train station, then took a train for two stops. We got off and took the elevator down and then back up on the other side, where we waited for the train that Randy and the other kids were on. It was only a few minutes, then they arrived. Sammy joined Randy and Emmy on the train, while Tammy got off and joined me. The boys went to Emmy's soccer class, while Tammy and I walked to the bus stop to take it to the dance school.
Just before 4 pm we arrived there. She put her outfit on and went inside the dance studio for her class, while I stead in the locker room. I spent the hour on my phone until she came back out, got changed again, and we left to go home. Street construction had moved to elsewhere, so the temporary bus stop was not right outside the school any more. We started our walk to the bus stop where I saw on a sign that the bus was not running all the way to the stadium which we had experienced last week. Because of that, we continued walking to the subway, took it for one stop, then switched to our subway that takes us home. However, we got off two stops early to pick up bread for a third of its price. Then we continued on home, where we arrived at about 5:45 pm.
I went to the kitchen to make the rest of their dinner, gave it to Tammy and set it on the table where Emmy sits. The boys returned home at 6 pm. After I was done in the kitchen, I sat down at my computer and then taught from 6:30 to 7:20 pm. Once done, I went downstairs with the kids for piano practice. Then they went into the bathtub. Time was short as I had a 8:10 student, so there was no time for a story tonight. I prayed for them quickly, then sat down at the computer to teach.
At 9 pm I was done and went to the kitchen to get something to eat. Then I went back to work. Now it's nearly 1 am and time to take care of the kitchen.
