HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 2025. On Monday Randy took Tammy and Emmy to kindergarten, while Sammy stayed home with me. Once Randy returned, he got Sammy ready for his horse therapy and left with him. Sammy had a good time, especially given the sunny and warm weather. They returned home around noon. Randy took the 12:30 pm bus to go get Tammy and Emmy, so they'd be home earlier, as I had a 1:40 pm student. Sammy and I had a good time at home. And he was fine the few minutes before Randy got home, when I had already started teaching.
I had two students in a row and taught until 3:30 pm. Then I got the kids and myself ready to leave the house, including making sandwiches for everyone. At 3:50 pm I left the house with Tammy and Emmy. We took two subways, then walked to the Robbo Club. There were more kids in the class than we've ever seen. Tammy and Emmy didn't even get to sit next to each other. I left them in the classroom, and got my computer out to get ready for my student. The receptionist was so nice and offered to share her desk with me, which I accepted. I sat at the end, which was perfect. And then my student came 25 minutes late, so that we only had 15 minutes left for our French class. I don't think we bothered the receptionist or the parent with her computer.
After I was done with my student, I did some more office work. Five minutes before the class was over, I went inside to see what the kids' had done. They had worked with the same software again and had made a game with a maze, where you have to move your figurine through it without touching the walls. They were all excited about it.
We put our jackets on and walked to the subway, the kids eating their sandwiches. We took two subways and got home around 6:30 pm. I went to the kitchen right away to warm up some food and cut fruit. They ate, then we still went downstairs for piano practice. Next came the bathtub, then story time and bed time. I then got myself something to eat, relaxed a bit, then went back to work.
On Tuesday the cleaning lady came at 9 am. She had to call me to wake me up, as I had gone back to sleep after Randy and the kids had left. After I had let her in, I went back to bed and slept some more. At around 11 am I got up and went to the kitchen to cook. At about 12:30 pm Randy came home with Sammy and left again to go pick up the other kids. Sammy is always scared of the cleaning lady, probably because of the vaccuum cleaner. She was downstairs and vaccuuming, and Sammy stuck close to me. When she came upstairs and she shook his hand to greet him, Sammy was actually shaking in fear. She then gave him a chocolate egg, as she does every time, and Sammy gave her the money. I just don't know how he can get over his fear.
I was getting ready for a 2 pm lesson with a new student, while having fun with Sammy. Randy then came home just after I had started my lesson. It was a half-hour trial lesson for the potential student. After I was done, I made the sandwiches for everyone, got the kids and myself ready, and left with Tammy and Emmy at about 2:50 pm.
We rode our scooters to the subway, took the subway and then the tram and rode the scooters to the dance school. We got their a few minutes before the breakdance class started at 3:30 pm. Tammy sat down in the locker room with me and spent her time on her tablet. As for me, I went inside from time to time to see what Emmy was doing and take pictures. One time they were going freestyle individually. I was filming Emmy and couldn't believe my eyes, when he did a headstand, went over and down on his legs. It looked impressive and intentional, even though it was not.
Just before the class was over, we left and rode our scooters to the tram stop. We took the tram for three stops, then rode our scooters to the school where the ball-playing class was taking place. They got changed, then we went inside. Randy and Sammy then arrived a few minutes later and joined us. His friend Michi was actually in the gym before Sammy. Sammy was very excited to see him. They started playing ball right away and had a great time together.
Tammy got hurt a lot more than usually, running to me crying a few times. I felt bad for her. But she still returned to playing after a few minutes each time and had fun. She's tough.
They played a game, where they had to catch kids first, and Tammy was even one of the catchers once. The second half of the class, they played landhockey. They had big balls at first that they had to move with their bats, then they got small balls to do the same. In the end, they played a game, and Tammy and Emmy were in opposing teams. Tammy is very aggressive and stays right on the ball all the time. She's relentless.
At 5:30 the class was over, and we left. We still had time until the 5:53 pm bus, so the kids went on the playground and had fun for a few minutes. Then we took the bus home. Back home, I went straight to the kitchen to warm up some leftovers and cut up fruit for them. After they had eaten, we went downstairs for piano practice, then they went into the bathtub. There was even still time for a story before I had to teach at 8:10 pm.
I taught until 9 pm, then got myself something to eat. After having eaten, I went back to work.
This morning my alarm woke me up at 10:30 am. I got up and got ready for my 11 am student and then taught until 12:15 pm. I got myself something to eat, and at 12:40 pm Randy returned with Sammy. He left again to go get the other kids, and Sammy and I had a great time together. He then started saying that he wanted me the one to go with him to physiotherapy, and I told him that that was possible. In fact, I'd be home earlier which would be practical, so it's what we ended up doing.
Randy and the kids got home at 2:30 pm, while I was getting ready to leave the house with Sammy, which we did a few minutes later. I was glad that Tammy didn't protest, as she usually does on Wednesdays, but found out later that she did, when it was time for Randy to leave the house with them. She needed a lollipop to calm down.
Sammy and I took two subways then walked to the physiotherapist's office. It was a warm but windy day. We walked in and started his session at 3:15 pm. It had been a while for me to go there with Sammy. Sammy was playing ball with me, while she was working on Sammy's legs being in the right position, whether he was standing or sitting. Sammy was having a great time, and time went by fast. At 4 pm he was done, and we left together to go back home, where we arrived at about 4:45 pm.
Even though I wanted to make their dinner, I was so tired that I had to lie down for a few minutes. Then I got up to get ready for my 5:40 pm student. I never actually got to make their dinner. Randy and the kids got home earlier than expected, at about 5:20 pm. At first they stayed upstairs, then they went downstairs to play.
After I was done teaching at 6:25 pm, I went to the kitchen to make their dinner, and they came upstairs to eat. Again, they wanted me to warm up leftovers as well as eating the bread with cheese or salami. Then they ate their fruit. While they were eating, I was getting ready for my 8:10 pm student. After the bathtub, I went downstairs with Tammy to do piano practice, but Emmy refused to pratice today. He's been having a hard time with piano practice recently, as I've tried to improve his finger position. He plays with his fingers flat on the piano.
Back upstairs, we sat down for some stories, then I prayed for them, and they went to bed. I then had to go teach. Emmy was crying hard because of some ridiculous thing and cried for the longest time. He ended up crawling on Daddy's lap and finding comfort there.
At 9 pm I was done, then I needed another 15 minutes to wrap everything up. I was hungry and finally got to go to the kitchen to get something to eat. I sat down to eat and relax, then went back to work. Now it's 1:30 am, and I have yet to clean up the kitchen. Tomorrow I have a very long day ahead of me.
