HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 2003. Thankfully there was no crying this morning. I helped to get them dressed for kindergarten, then they left with Daddy, and I lay back down for more sleep that was much-needed. I woke up just before 11 am and took my time to get up as I had no commitments this morning. Eventually I got up to warm up leftovers for lunch and ate.
Then Randy came home with Sammy and left again to go pick up the other two. Sammy and I then had a great time together. I got stuff ready for us to leave, and I gave Sammy some pudding to eat. Randy and the kids arrived rather late at 2:30 pm. Good thing I didn't have any students. I went downstairs with Emmy to do piano practice with him, then we returned upstairs. Just after 2:45 pm Emmy and I left the house together.
We took the subway and then the tram and got to the dance school early. Some kids were already there. The parents were sitting in the locker room, while the kids were doing their class. From time to time I'd go inside to see what they were doing and to take a few pictures. I also took two videos of Emmy dancing. He was doing a great job.
Just before the class ended, I waved Emmy to the locker room, so we could get dressed and leave. The ball-playing class starts at 4:30 pm now, so we have only 15 minutes between classes, which is not much. And so we were the first ones to leave, rode our scooters to the tram stop, then took the tram for 3 stops and rode our scooters to the school, where the ball-playing class is taking place. When we walked into the building, Randy was already there with Tammy and Sammy and getting ready to go inside. We joined them and all walked into the gym together. That included Sammy's friend Michi with his son.
We sat down along the wall, and Tammy and Emmy ran off to play. Sammy started playing ball with Michi, Daddy and me. He was having fun. Tammy and Emmy were having fun as well, and I got to talk with Michi for much of the time. Before we knew it, it was 5:30 pm and over. We got dressed again and left to go home. On the way to the bus stop, the kids started playing at the playground there. We still had some time until the bus was scheduled to come, so it was okay. The sun was only just going down, which was unusual as it was already dark, when the class started, just recently, only last week.
We got on the 5:53 pm bus and rode it home, then had to walk a bit. Back home, I warmed up some soup for the kids and started cutting up fruit for them. Then I sat down to prepare my 8 pm student, while they were eating. They continued eating in the bathtub, then we got them ready for bed. I read them a bedtime story and put them all to bed with a prayer. Then I sat down at the computer to teach.
I was done at 9 pm, but always need some more time to wrap everything up. And today my computer crashed, when I left the Zoom meeting. After I was done, I got myself something to eat and relaxed a little. Then I downloaded the pictures and started working on them. I thought I could work on the French version of the newsletter tonight, but there was no time. Now it's 1 am, and I still have to take care of the kitchen, and tomorrow I have a busy morning.
