Day 1912. It was Tuesday today, but it was not a free morning. After the kids left after 8:15 with Randy to go to kindergarten, I lay back down to sleep. It had been 2 am last night, when I last looked at the time. I was woken up just after 9 am, when the cleaning lady called me because I hadn't heard the doorbell. I quickly got up and let her in. Then I lay back down, even though there was stuff to put away. When I did get up, I started doing that housework and got a lot done.
Randy had to leave before noon today, so I got his pizza ready in time for him. However, he didn't have time to eat it but took it with him to eat on the bus like a sandwich. I'm trying to make better food choices, so I did not eat the other half of the pizza but left it for the kids to eat at night. I got myself something else to eat and continued doing housework. It took me a long time to get it all done, but it felt good.
I had just sat down by the computer, when Randy came home with Tammy and Emmy at 1:15 pm. He left right away to go get Sammy from kindergarten and take him to the therapy center for his weekly therapy. Tammy and Emmy got on their tablets, but after 10 minutes Emmy agreed to go downstairs with me to do piano practice. After we were done, Tammy came downstairs to do her practice. Then we went back upstairs.
While I had practiced with Tammy, Christine, the Caritas helper and our friend, had arrived. It was great to see her again, for the first time since my operation. She had come twice while I was in the hospital. I talked with her briefly, then she went downstairs with the kids. I returned to my computer to get ready for my students.
At 2:45 Christine left with Emmy to take him to his Breakdance class. Tammy came upstairs and got on her tablet. I then taught from 3 to 6 pm. Randy and Sammy came home at 3:15, and they left again, together with Tammy, at 4:15 pm. Their ball playing class started at 4:45 pm, and that's where Christine and Emmy met up with the others. Thanks to Christine being here, I was able to stay home and teach instead of being the one taking Emmy (and Tammy) to his class.
After I was done teaching at 6 pm, I went to the kitchen to make their dinner. When they got home at 6:15 pm, they could sit straight down at the table to eat dinner.
After they were done eating, they went into the bathtub, then I prayed for Sammy so he could go to bed. Tammy and Emmy lay down in bed with me, and I read them a story. Then they brushed their teeth and went to bed. After I had stroked them and sung over them, I went to the kitchen to make my own dinner. After having eaten, I worked on the pictures and other stuff and finally got my blog written. Now it's midnight and time to go to bed.
