HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1909. This morning we all left the house at 10 am together, took the subway downtown, then walked to the music school. Their class started at 10:30 am, and there were only two other students there today. Randy left with Sammy pretty quickly, and they stayed outside for the whole class.
The teacher started with the greeting song, then they had to turn the piano on. They did a finger exercise first, and they played two of the songs they've been practising. It was obvious that they practised little last week, with me being in hospital. Emmy cannot handle making mistakes, and so he was upset and didn't want to continue. He also misbehaved throughout the whole class.
They did one coloring exercise, and they went up front to do the song we'd been practising. The founder of the school sat on the floo for a while to watch what the teacher was doing. They also had a new screen and a student following the class from home. Once they were done singing, it was story time, and the kids complained about doing a story they already know well again.
Once the class ended, we left and took the subway back home. I immediately warmed up yesterday's pasta, so that we could sit down to eat within minutes.
And we didn't have much time. Randy had to leave with Tammy and Emmy before 1 pm to catch the 1 pm bus. They were invited to the birthday party of a friend from kindergarten. And this one was different in that you had to drop your kids off and then pick them up again in the end. That's also why Sammy was not invited this time. Randy was gonna take him with him, but since I expected him to only be gone for an hour, I told him he could leave him home with me as I would not have to lift him. However, Randy had a hard time with construction blocking access to public transportation so that it took him a very long time. In the end he was gone for 2 hours and only returned at 2:45 pm.
Sammy and I had lots of fun together - fun we couldn't have this past week. Then he started getting cranky, asking for Daddy. He also wanted to watch home videos, but I was trying to prepare for my 3 pm student. He finally got so cranky, and Randy was taking so long to get home, that I gave him and let him watch videos, making him happy. After Randy got home, he went downstairs with Sammy, and I got ready to teach.
And I taught for 3 hours, from 3 to 6 pm. One student wanted to do another lesson at 8 pm, so I agreed to do that. After I finished teaching at 6 pm, I went to the kitchen to make dinner for the kids. They were still not home. Randy had taken Sammy with him, as I was teaching, and was waiting by the event place for the kids. They came out quite late, and Sammy was so upset, that he let them do a few Peppa Pig rides before coming home. By the time they came around 6:15 pm, their food was ready for them. After I was done getting it all cut up, I lay down for some rest and even fell asleep a little, even with the noise. Randy bathed them, then I prayed for Sammy before he went to bed and read a bedtime story to the other two. I prayed for them, they brushed their teeth, and went to bed. I stroked them, sang briefly over them, and left them to start teaching. After I was done at 9 pm, I went to the kitchen to make myself some soup. I enjoyed eating it, then I started working on the pictures of the day.
I've noticed that the pain in my belly has significantly decreased. Tonight I won't take any pain medication before going to bed for the first time. And tonight I also have to load the dishwasher again for the first time.
