HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1898. I helped get the kids ready for kindergarten, then Randy took them there, while I went back to bed. My alarm went off at 9:30, as I had a 10 am student. I was tired, but I prepared for my lesson and taught until 11 am. Then I went to the kitchen to make lunch. Randy already left at 11:30 to go pick up Tammy and Emmy. I appreciated the time to get work done.
Randy and the kids already returned home early, at 12:45 pm. They had been lucky with public transportation. That gave Randy plenty of time to eat before he had to leave at 1:15 pm to pick up Sammy. From kindergarten, Randy took Sammy to the therapy center, where Sammy had a therapy session at 2:15. Then they returned home, but by then we were already gone.
After I had prepared for my 2 pm lesson, I went downstairs with Tammy and Emmy to do their piano practice. By the time we went back upstairs, Randy was already gone. I prepared everything for us to leave right after I was done teaching, while the kids got on their tablets.
I taught from 2 to 2:50, then we got ready to leave. We went to the subway, and while waiting their, our neighbors' Grandma arrived and joined us. We enjoyed talking with her while waiting for the subway, and then on the subway.
After we got off the subway, we had to wait for the tram; we had watched one leave and had to wait longer for that reason. Once we got off the tram, we were glad to have our scooters to get to the dance studio faster. Somehow we were late, and so everyone was already inside. We had to get our scooters up a steep staircase, then went inside the dance studio. Emmy took his coat off and changed shoes, then went inside to join the other kids. The class had just started, and there were more kids today than before. Tammy sat down at the desk to do some drawing, and later also played with some of the toys. I sat down, but went inside the dance studio from time to time to see what Emmy was doing and how he was doing and to take his picture. He was doing already, but a lot of the moves are not very easy, and he didn't copy them all correctly. But he had fun, that's what matters.
In the end, all the kids get to go to the middle one after another for freestyle. After it had been Emmy's turn, I waved him over, as we had to get going. We put everything back on, took our scooters, and left the studio.
Once on the street, we rode our scooters to the tram stop and got on the next tram. After three stops we got off and rode them for a whole bus stop to the school where the ball-playing class was happening. Surprisingly we were not late today, and Randy and Sammy were already there and waiting for us. Sammy was really happy to see us.
We got the kids changed and went inside the gym. Sammy was very happy to see his friend, a father of one of the kids in the class. And he ended up playing with him during the whole class. I was really impressed. He was very sweet with him, played ball with him, and Sammy showed him what he could do and talked with him.
Tammy and Emmy were having fun in their class, though Emmy tends to take a ball and just play soccer instead of participating. But they were doing well.
Time seemed to go really slow for Randy and me; we were both tired. At 5:45 pm the class was finally over. We got everybody dressed again and were the last ones to leave the building. It was already dark outside as we walked to the bus stop. We had just missed a bus and had to wait 15 minutes for the next one. The kids were hungry, but I had not made their bread with salami in advance to take with us, and so they had some snacks.
Just before 6:30 pm we were back home. I could barely keep my eyes open, but went straight to the kitchen to make their dinner. After they had eaten, they went into the bathtub, then I read them a story and prayed for them. After they were all in bed, I went to the kitchen to make myself something to eat. And after having eaten, I started working on today's pictures. Now it's midnight, and I still have to take care of the kitchen.
And by the way - today the hospital was supposed to call me to tell me whether they're going to do the operation the way they had explained it to me or not, but they never called. In the next few days they were supposed to call me to let me know what day the operation is scheduled for.
