HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1897. It was the beginning of a regular week with kindergarten and all classes taking place. I dressed the kids and helped get them out the door with Randy, then lay back down in bed and got some more much-needed sleep. I got up around 11 am. Just after noon Randy left to go pick up Sammy.
They returned home at 12:40, then Randy left again to go pick up the other two kids. Sammy and I had a great time together. He was laughing and having fun, while I tried to get work done on the computer at the same time. At 2 pm Randy returned home, and I went downstairs with Emmy so he could do his piano practice. Tammy was whining that she didn't want to, and I didn't have time anyway. I had to start teaching at 2:30 pm. After I was done, I made sure Randy had everything so he could Tammy to her ballet class, and Sammy was coming along as well.
At 3:30 I started teaching my second student, and Randy left with Tammy and Sammy just before 4 pm. I finished at 4:20 pm, then went to the kitchen to make their dinner. I took Emmy's bread with salami with us, and left the plates for the kids on the table, ready for them to eat what was on them.
At 5 pm Emmy and I left, and we took our scooters with us. It was already dark outside. We rode the subway to the end, then our scooters to the nearby school. Emmy got changed, then we went inside the gym. The previous class (younger kids) was still going on, and we sat down and watched.
Then Emmy's class started. I don't know whether the trainer knows Emmy's name because it's on his shirt or because he's noticed him. When he needed a kid to show everyone what to do, he picked Emmy. Emmy then had to copy everything the trainer was doing. Then the kids paired up, and Emmy was both the shadow as well as the one being shadowed. That game continued on for quite some time, and balls were added to the mix at some point.
Then the trainer set up a parcours they had to master with their balls. Emmy did well. The second half of the class they always play games. They split them into four teams, and always two were playing against each other. Thankfully Emmy was in the team near me.
And Emmy wanted to be the goalie. He's saying that he can hold any ball, and he's actually really good at it. He throws himself at the ball, much more than any other kids, and so he's on the ground a lot, but it works. Today Emmy's team won, even though they were only 3 kids, while their opponents had 4 kids in the team.
In the end they all sat down on the bench in the middle of the room, and they do this shouting thing at the end of every class. Then the class was over.
We went to the locker room, Emmy got changed, then we left and rode our scooters back to the subway. It was mostly downhill, so we got there fast. By 7 pm we were back home.
And Randy (Sammy) hadn't called me even once! Tammy and Sammy had already finished eating, while Emmy sat down to eat some more. Then they all went into the bathtub, where they had fun. It was the beginning of our regular evening routine.
After they were all in bed, I went to the kitchen to warm up some leftovers for dinner. After having eaten, I started working on the pictures. Now it's going on midnight, and I still have to take care of the kitchen.
