Day 1738. Yesterday I had a student in the morning, and in the afternoon Tammy and Emmy had a make-up piano lesson that Randy took them to. And so Sammy and I spent lots of time at home together. Normally Tuesday is the one day they don't have anything going on in the afternoon.

This morning I taught from 10 to noon, then Sammy came home from kindergarten at 12:40, as usual. At 2 pm Randy came home with the other two kids. We were all downstairs, and Tammy wanted to make a necklace. She had received a kit at Christmas and had never opened it until yesterday. Yesterday she'd made a necklace for her best friend in kindergarten, but today she wanted to make one for herself, and so she did. She did a great job and posed with it for this picture.

I left the house with Tammy and Emmy at 3:20 to take the 3:32 pm train. All three of us had our scooters with us to be faster. That helped, as it is always tight, now that the 3:20 pm train is not running for 4 months.

But we made it there on time. Their exercise class started at 3:50 pm. Parents are not allowed to watch so I stayed in the locker room until their class was over at 4:45 pm. Then they changed again and we left.

The next train is at 5:23, so we had quite a bit of time. In addition, I did not have any more students, which is highly unusual, and so we had time. I suggested we'd go to the nearby playground, which they thought was a great idea. They had fun there. Emmy was able to climb up the rope, but Tammy didn't make it to the top. THey were on the see-saw, and in the end, Emmy got on it and stood on it and didn't even notice that the only reason he could stand on it like that was that there was a Mom with her baby sitting in the other seat.

The playground was small, and so I suggested we'd take the 5:23 pm train after all. Thanks to the scooters we got to the train station faster and made the train. Even though Emmy wanted to go to the grocery store and was crying, when we didn't. I told them we could still go to the grocery store after we got off, but Tammy didn't want to. Once home I suggested again we'd go, but Tammy didn't want to. When I'd say, we're going, Tammy would cry, and when I'd say we're staying, Emmy would cry. In the end we stayed home. They got on their tablets, and I went to the kitchen to start making dinner early.

Sammy had also been out and about. He left with Randy later to go to a physiotherapy session, and so they only got home around 6:15 pm.
