HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1713. This morning we all left the house together at 10 to take the subway to the kids' music school. Tammy, Emmy and I had our scooters with us, which was my first time using it in public. I wanted to see how it goes, together with the kids, and it went really well.
At 10:30 am their class started. They've now done all the notes from Do to Fa. They know where they are on the keyboard and what the notes look like. Today they played "Mary had a little lamb" on the keyboard, following the notes in their books. I assume that's what they're going to play at their concert in just over a month's time.
Sammy was with me most of the time and he was looking at pictures on my phone. The kids did some dances/songs in the front with Randy going with them, but they also sat by the board. The teacher drew the notes on the board, and they had to put the corresponding colors on the notes. Sammy left me and went to the front as well, ending up first with Daddy and then sitting next to his brother, arm in arm. In the end he also went up front during story time.
After it ended at 11:30, we took the subway to Mc Donald's. Sammy was very upset that it was an old train so I promised him we'd take a new train home, which calmed him down. We had a good time at Mc Donald's and when we got back to the subway, the board said that the next two trains were gonna be old ones. Randy then decided to take the next train with Tammy and Emmy, while I told Sammy we'd wait until there's a new train. Thankfully the third train was a new one, and we rode it home. Walking home from the subway I found out that it's not possible to ride a scooter and push a wheelchair at the same time.
The kids really wanted to go to the playground, but first it was time for a break. They ended up watching some stuff on my computer, which did not give me a break at all. I got more and more tired and finally told everyone I needed to lie down. I did, and at some point Randy left with the kids to go to the playground. I set my alarm and got up in time for my 4 pm lesson. I enjoyed the quiet in the house after my lesson and was able to get some office work done until everyone returned at about 6 pm. I then went to the kitchen to make their dinner, which started our evening routine.
