HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1708. Today Sammy stayed home from kindergarten so that Randy only took the other two to their kindergarten. He returned at 9:45 and left with Sammy at 10 am to take him to his horse therapy session. I was busy tidying up as the cleaning lady was there to clean our house. Before I knew it, it was nearly 11:45, and Randy and Sammy were already coming home. Sammy had a bad cold, coughing and a runny nose, and so the therapist had ended the session early.
At noon Randy left again to go pick up the other kids. I was getting worried, when they were still not back at 1:30 pm, as it shouldn't take that long, but it was closer to 1:45 pm, when they got home.
We needed to leave the house at 2:30 pm to take them to their ball-playing class. We asked Sammy who he wanted to stay home with him, Mommy or Daddy, but he couldn't make up his mind. Randy thought it was better for him to stay home, given he wasn't feeling so great, but when I left with Tammy and Emmy, he was crying hard, as he wanted to come as well. And he does a lot better, when I'm the one to stay home with him.
Since I was on my own with Tammy and Emmy, I let them take their scooters with them, which they were very happy about. We walked to the subway, took it for two stops, then waited for the tram. We had just missed one and had to wait 9 minutes for the next one. But we still got to class on time.
This time the female assistant wasn't there, but a man was taking her place. He didn't talk, but just fulfilled his task as an assistant. Once they played a game, where they were not allowed to move, and he walked around to the kids trying to get them to talk or move, and most of the time he was actually successful. They played a few different ballgames again, and everyone was really excited, when the guy pulled the cart with the mats to the storage room and let everyone get on top to be taken there. He even took a detour for the ride to last longer.
Halfway through the class I was surprised, when Randy and Sammy walked into the gym. He had cried so hard wanting to be with us that Randy came with him. Sammy played ball with me.
Just before 4 pm it was over, and I had a 4:30 pm student. Sammy, however, wanted to go swing at the playground. It was a hot and sunny day. And so Randy went to the nearby playground with the kids, while I went home to teach. And he wanted me to take their scooters with me, and they weren't that easy to carry. I then taught from 4:30 to 6:20. They already got home at around 5 pm.
