HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1728. We had been looking at our options of where we could go to church, when Randy found an invitation to a new one, we thought, connected to someone we know. So we decided to go check it out. That meant no sleeping in, as we had to leave the house at 9 am.
We took the subway and a tram and got to the hostel whose address we had at 9:40, so twenty minutes before the scheduled start. We had found the hostel, but we didn't know where the meeting was. There was a paper with an arrow, and then there was someone who knew us from another part of Austria. He greeted us and showed us the way.
When we walked into the room, where the meeting was taking place, we immediately saw someone at whose house we had stayed at before and who we hadn't seen in a while. She was so very happy to see the kids.
At 10 am the service started with worship, and she encouraged the kids to come to the front. We then all ended up in the front. Someone was dancing with Tammy and Emmy, then I was dancing with Emmy, and then they were dancing by themselves. Then someone gave them some fabric to dance with. They were having fun. But after a while Sammy wanted to leave the front, mainly because it was so loud, and we returned to our seats in the last row.
Before the meeting had started we had found out that it was a seminar and not a service. And so there was no children's program. The children were playing in the back, while the different people were talking up front. Randy did not understand anything, as it was in German. After a while we decided to leave. It was only 11:20 am.
We walked back to the tram that we then took to the subway. By noon we were back home.
I warmed up the soup from the other day, and we all sat down to eat. Then everyone relaxed on their devices before we went downstairs. I went to my new office to write a newsletter reminding everyone to pray for our court case in Mali starting the next day, while the kids were playing. I then also did the German translation before we went upstairs, so I could make their dinner. I still did the French translation that night, so that all three went out the same day.
