HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1725. This morning Randy took all three kids to kindergarten, while I lay back down in bed. Just before 9:30 my alarm went off, as I had to get ready for a 10 am student, actually another new student. I had another student after her, so I actually taught until noon. I stayed at the computer working, even though I hadn't eaten anything, and only got up, when Randy and Sammy came home at 12:45. Then I warmed some food up for myself and ate it; Sammy had already eaten at kindergarten, but we shared some birthday cake.
Sammy wanted to go downstairs, but I had some scanning to do and told Sammy he could go downstairs with Daddy later. And so we stayed upstairs, and Sammy played with me the whole time, having lots of fun, and I was still able to do the scanning in between.
Randy and the kids got home around 2:15 pm. Randy had lunch, then they all had some cakes. They were enjoying some relaxation on their tablets. With our departure time approaching, I dressed them for their dance class and got ready to leave the house. I told Sammy that while I was leaving with the others, he was going to the wheelchair class again that he had so enjoyed two weeks ago, when it was his first time (last week was a holiday). He made a friend there right away and was looking forward to seeing her again. And so he was not crying today, when we left.
We left at 3:45 pm with all our scooters and took the subway, then a tram for one stop, then we had some distance to cover withour scooters. I had forgotten to bring their drink bottle, so we stopped at a grocery store and bought a drink. Then we continued on our way, all the way to the dance studio, where we arrived on time. They put their dance shoes on, then we waited for the teacher to come and the class to begin. They went inside, and I was once again sitting around and waiting for their class to be over. I was reading the paper and using my phone.
Once the class was over, we rode our scooters back to the tram stop a few streets over. It had stopped raining; before their class we had ridden in the rain for the last 2 minutes. At the tram stop, the kids took a picture of me - one each, and I chose the better one. They were so excited to take a picture with my phone. I'd realized I had never taken a picture of my scooter, so it was time. It is actually somewhat of a workout; after a while my legs get rather tired, especially as I always have the same foot on the scooter and the same one doing the pushing off.
We rode the tram for one stop and then got on the subway to go home. Emmy had a fit, when I didn't give him any snacks, as we were going to have dinner at home. We got home at about 6:10 pm, and I made them something to eat right away. I also made Sammy's food, even though I knew it'd still be some time before they got home. They got home just after 7 pm; Sammy had had fun, even though his friend wasn't there. It had been Randy's first time there, but he wasn't impressed, but then he's hard to impress.
After they had all eaten, they went into the bathtub. I was watching the time as I still had a student from 8 to 9 pm. The kids still wanted a story, so we got them out of the water and ready for bed quickly, and I was able to fit one story in (usually we read two). I prayed for them, sent them to bed and sat down to teach.
Teaching invigorates me, so the tiredness was not an issue any more. I was still glad, when I was done at 9 pm and went to the kitchen to get myself something to eat. Now it's after 1 am and time for bed.
