Day 1721. Today was Mother's Day in Austria. Sammy was up first, as usual, then Emmy was up, then Randy got up to make their breakfast. Tammy usually sleeps between us in our bed during the second half of the night and she likes sleeping longer, so she got up some time later. I stayed in bed, glad that I didn't have to get up for anything. Emmy's toe is finally fine again, and Tammy's got well thanks to my oils before it got as bad as Emmy's. And Sammy is finally well again as well, not needing any more medications. Emmy came a few times, but I made it very clear to him that I wanted to be left alone so that I could sleep as long as possible.

I had gone to bed late once again, which was just too many nights in a row. Just before 10 am I got up. The kids brought me what they had made for Mother's Day in kindergarten and tried to remember the poem/song they had learned there. They gave me cards and drawings and chocolate that Daddy had bought. Randy then suggested he'd take them to the playground, and so I got them ready to leave. A few minutes later Randy left with them, Tammy and Emmy having their scooters with them. They had lots of fun at the playground. Emmy climbed all the way to the top of this climbing construct (not Tammy), and they all had fun playing in the sand, which Daddy is not so fond of as the sand is everywhere, under and on their clothes and hair and shoes. As for me, I enjoyed the quiet at home, but did work on the computer. Just before noon I went to the kitchen to cook lunch.

Everyone returned a few minutes later, and at 12:30 we sat down to eat.

After lunch, everyone got on their tablets to relax. At some point I got so tired that I decided I needed to take a nap. I closed the doors, but the kids were really loud so that I could not sleep. At 3 pm Randy finally went downstairs with them. However, I had so much going through my mind that I never got to sleep. At 3:30 pm I went to the kitchen to make their dinner boxes for church, and a few minutes later they already came back upstairs. I dressed them, and at 4:15 pm we all left the house.

We walked to the subway stop and rode two subways to get to church. We arrived just before the service started at 5 pm. Tammy and Emmy went to the front to draw, while I and Randy had Sammy, who went back and forth between us. When I was holding him, he raised his arm into the air all by himself. I guess he had seen the people around us do that. Tammy and Emmy then returned with streamers that they danced with in worship.

At 5:30 Randy and the kids left to go to children's church. Because it was Mother's Day and because my birthday is coming up on Tuesday, I got to stay in the sanctuary. I enjoyed the time of worship; I was extremely tired. Then they prayed for all those who had a birthday. I stood up, and a bunch of people surrounded me and prayed for me. They prayed blessings over me, and one person saw my heart full of gold, and another saw God giving me keys. Then they honored all the mothers/women. All women got together in pairs to pray, and the men were supposed to move around and bless all the women. No one came by us, though.

It was 6:40 pm before the preaching started. Just then Randy texted me whether it was about over. He was ready to go home. And so I went to the kids' room, where Sammy came to me right away, asking for Anna. So I took him to the sanctuary, where we found Anna, and Anna took him. I then got our stuff together and returned to the kids' room, picking up Tammy and Emmy. We then all met up, said our goodbyes to Anna, and left. Sammy was not happy not having more time with her.

We walked back to the subway and took two subways to get home, which takes a while. By 7:45 pm we were back home. All three kids had eaten all the food in their boxes, which was good. Sammy is finally eating plenty of food now. We gave them all showers and got them ready for bed. Tammy and Emmy still read a story with me before going to bed. Then I got myself something to eat, and after having eaten, I did some work on the computer. Now it's 12:20 am, I've already taken care of the kitchen, and I hope to finally get to bed much earlier than I have been.
