HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1718. Today was a holiday and so all the kids were home. I, however, had a regular day with 4 scheduled hours of teaching. After I was done teaching my first lesson at 11 am, I went to the kitchen to cook lunch. After lunch I continued working on the computer, while Randy soon went downstairs with the kids. Sammy is always the one to ask to go downstairs. By the way, he was doing so much better today.
My 4 and 5 pm lessons were canceled, but I taught from 3 to 4 pm. Before I was done, the doorbell rang and Sammy's friend Anna arrived. For some reason Sammy is really attached to her, even though I can count on one hand how many times she's been to our house. Sammy always asks for her, when we go to church, and is so excited to see her there. Now she had finally agreed to come visit us so Sammy could spend more time with her than the few minutes at the end of the service.
After I was done teaching, I went downstairs to where Anna was playing with the kids. It was great to have some time to talk to her. Sammy was really enjoying the time he got with her. Of course, once I was there, Sammy wanted me to swing him as Daddy never does, and I ended up doing just that.
At 5:30 Anna said her goodbyes, and I went upstairs to work another half hour before everyone was coming upstairs. At 6:15 I started making their dinner, which is the beginning of our evening routine. Now it's 1:30 and high time to go to bed, as I have a long day tomorrow - but first I have to do the dishes.
