HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1678. Yesterday morning I had to get up early to teach from 9 to 10 am, even though I'd had a bad night and felt terrible. After I was done teaching, I got the kids ready, and I left the house with Tammy and Emmy to go to a movie theater. I had reserved tickets in advance and didn't want to let them down. We took the subway and then the tram and got there early. I got the tickets and bought some popcorn, then we went inside the movie theater. They enjoyed the 75 minute movie. I was pretty sick and tried to have my eyes open as much as possible to also watch the movie.
After it was over, we got on the tram and the subway again, but got off to go to McDonald's. I was too sick for us to sit there, so we took the food home with us and ate it there. I went straight to bed and was in bed shape for hours. I had headache and a fever and was hurting all over. It didn't help that it was 5 pm before Randy and Sammy came home. Sammy had gone to the zoo with the kindergarten in the morning, and Randy had to pick him up there at 1 pm. They then went to McDonald's there to get some food, and got on a bus, then a tram, to get to the place for Sammy's 2 pm appointment. He had been there once before, and he was coming back to get his night braces, to have them adjusted where necessary which takes hours. That's why they came home so late.
I had a short time of feeling better, which allowed me to make their food and put them in the bathtub, read them a story, pray for them and put them to bed. However, that phase soon ended, and at 10:30 pm I went to bed as I was too sick to do anything. I hadn't even turned the dishwasher on.
And I had another terrible night because of the fever. At 6 am Sammy was up calling Daddy and then me, and I lay down next to him and talked with him. Emmy then joined us. Then I helped Sammy out of bed and returned to my own bed.
We had registered for an Easter brunch at a church today that I was looking forward to, but I realized that there was no way I was up for it, so I canceled. I spent the whole day in bed, sleeping for much of the time. I was even too sick to be on my phone, or to work. I took some medication in the morning, which allowed me to work for about 20 minutes then. But then I only took some medication at 8:30 pm again, so that I could take care of the kitchen and hide a few eggs upstairs. It is thanks to that medication that I was able to eat something and write my blog. Tomorrow I cannot cancel what we have planned.
