HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1676. I started the day with a student at 10 am, then I had to cook lunch. I had another student at 1 pm, then we got everyone ready to leave the house. We rode the subway to the Prater, the famous amusement park in Vienna, and walked to the planetarium that is right there. They played with the moving globe outside, while I went inside to get our tickets. Then we lined up to get in. We've been there once before, and they had enjoyed it. Unfortunately that was not the case today. They were bored and kept asking, when the movie starts, but there was no movie. It was a teaching on the planets of our solar system - made for kids - and I thought they had done good job. Sammy was sitting with his siblings or me or Daddy, moving around way too much.
The kids were upset that there had not been a movie. We left and started walking through the amusement park to the subway on the other end. I told them they could do a few rides. All three got on a train, Emmy sitting next to his brother, and they loved it. Sammy cried hard every time a ride ended, as he wanted to go on.
We walked on and got to the cars. Tammy and Emmy were excited to get in, but then the lady told me "no handicapped kids". I could have sworn Sammy has done this ride before. And so Tammy and Emmy got in, while I left with Sammy so he wouldn't have to watch them. We got to a caroussel that we rode together, and he greatly enjoyed it. The others found us there, and then Tammy and Emmy got on the flying caroussel right next to it, while Sammy did another round on the same caroussel, this time with Daddy. Once again he was crying hard, when we put him into his wheelchair. Then we left to walk to the subway.
It was a warm and sunny day, and I suggested they could still go to the playground. They were excited about that and had so much fun. I took Sammy to the swing right away, then to the moving belt that he had fun on. The other two were climbing and also jumping on the belt. Then we left to go home.
Back home we went through our evening routine quickly, as I had a 8 pm student. I finished at 9 pm, then took another hour to scan materials for my student. At 10 pm I quit. I had been really tired today, but by that time, late in the day, I realized that I was actually getting sick.
