HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1651. Last night Emmy came to me crying the first half of the night, before going to bed, but he didn't during the second half of the night, after I had gone to bed. This morning Sammy was up first; he had also gone to bed extra early as he had not felt well. Emmy was also saying he was hungry rather early, and so Randy got up to make their breakfast. I still stayed in bed and got up later to get some work done. At 11:15 Randy and the kids came back upstairs. All three made a drawing for our friend we were going to visit, and at noon we left the house.
Yesterday the plan had been to go to piano class and then McDonald's for lunch, but then the class was canceled, and Emmy and I were at the hospital at lunch time. So we decided to go to McDonald's today, before visiting our friend at the hospital. We took the train, then the subway, and went all the way to where the hospital was. There was a train station and mall which is where we found the McDonald's. They had some new Happy Meal toys that kept Emmy and Tammy busy; Emmy ended up eating little. Sammy ate hardly anything. He had played all morning full of energy, but now he was worn out. He was quiet and was obviously not feeling well.
After we had eaten, we left the mall and walked over to the hospital. We asked where our friend's room was and made our way there. We hadn't seen her in months, so it was great to see her again. The kids were really happy and gave her the drawings they had made for her. We pulled up a chair and sat down to talk with our friend. After some time, two more friends of her arrived and joined us. Having talked some more, we then prayed for her. Then her friends prayed for Emmy as well as for Sammy. Then we said our good-byes and left.
We walked back to the mall and got on the train that took us to the subway that we took home. It was the first warm day of the year, and the kids took their coats off, when we got off the subway and ran, enjoying the sun and the warmth. By 3:20 pm we were back home, but the kids were ready to go outside and run their scooters. I was very tired and just wanted to lie down, while being very much aware of the office work that's waiting to get done. Sammy was still quiet and looking tired and didn't care about anything. I then went downstairs to help them go outside and took a few picture of them having fun with their scooters. I put Sammy on a bobby car, but he didn't really want to be there but wanted to go back inside, so he did. The other two had fun outside for quite some time before coming back inside. And then they all came upstairs rather early. Sammy went to bed and fell asleep and has been sleeping ever since, probably since about 5 pm. The other two were on their tablets, then I started making their dinner at 6:15 pm. They ate at the table, then their fruit in the bathtub, then we got them ready for bed. I read them a bedtime story, then they brushed their teeth and we lay down in my bed, where I prayed for them, then stayed with them for a little while. After a few minutes I carried Emmy to his bed and went to the kitchen to make my salad. Then I carried Tammy to her bed and sat down to eat. After having eaten, I went back to work. Now it's going on 1 am, and I still have to take care of the kitchen before going to bed.
