Day 1611. Yesterday Sammy went back to kindergarten after our week away in the mountains. Tammy and Emmy did not go anywhere, but did school with me. In the afternoon I had two students online. And, it was the very first time that Tammy slept without a diaper during the night. And she did so again last night. Her first two nights without a diaper - and successful nights! Tonight, however, she woke up crying around 11 pm because she and her bed were completely wet. I changed her, and then she wanted to sleep in our bed. He usually sleeps the second half of the night in our bed anyway, while Emmy only comes for short times or even not at all. In any case, he's not at the point of sleeping without a diaper at night.

This morning Sammy was in kindergarten again, while the other two kids were at home. Emmy did some school work on the computer, and they went downstairs to play, while Randy was home. I was doing office work and then went to the kitchen to cook. We usually sit down to eat around 12:30 pm now, just before Sammy returns home with Randy, and then they join us. Sammy eats lunch at kindergarten at 11:30, but then eats lunch again with us at 12:45, and today he ate everything on his plate. Tammy also finished her bowl, while Emmy is the one eating too little.

After lunch, I had to get ready for my 2:15 pm student. Sammy was having fun with me during that time, while Randy was taking a nap and the other two were on their tablets. I then taught until 3:30 pm, then we finished dressing the kids to leave the house together, which we did at about 3:40 pm.
The kids had missed the last two ice-skating classes. Two weeks ago they had a piano make-up class, so they'd only miss one piano class and not two, which meant missing the ice-skating class. And of course last week we were gone. When we got to the subway, we realized we had no drinks for the kids, and so Randy went back to the house, while I continued on with the three children. Tammy and Emmy were fighting part of the time and wouldn't listen to me to stop. They drew people's attention to them. After two subways and a walk, we reached the ice-skating rink. We walked right in with our cards and went to the locker room, where we always go. I put the two ice-skating kids on the counter there and started putting their sock on. Then Randy already arrived, and the two of us put their shoes, helmets and gloves on. We then walked to the area where they teach the kids, and we actually were on time.

Tammy and Emmy went on the ice to go to their teachers. You could tell it'd been three weeks, as they were a little insecure, and Emmy fell a lot today, Tammy only at first. They then started doing different exercises. They had to walk between cones on the ground and put their arms up, and they had to go around the cones with one leg on the left and one on the right. They also had to bend down on their knees, and everyone was eager to get a cone, when it was time to pick them up. Emmy was doing pretty well; he really glides at times, while Tammy is still walking on the ice.

Randy, Sammy and I were standing on the sidelines and watching. We hadn't brought Sammy's tablet, so Randy used his phone to entertain him. It didn't take long for Sammy to ask for us to go home, but I told him it wasn't time yet. At 5:10 pm the kids took a break and sat down to eat a snack. That's when Sammy and I left to go home - much to his delight. He was lucky to get two new subway trains and enjoyed pushing the door button after every stop. Once home, we were having fun together, while I started making the kids' dinner.

Just after 6:30 Randy and the kids also returned home, and they sat down to eat right away. Then they went into the bathtub, where they continued eating. Once out, we got them ready for bed. I read them two Bible stories, they brushed their teeth, and I prayed for them. Sammy was already asleep by that time. It was already going on 8:30 pm, so later than usual, when Emmy and Tammy lay down to sleep. Randy sat down by them, while I went to the kitchen to make my salad. I then sat down to eat, and then continued working. Now it's after midnight and time to get ready for bed.
