HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1540. Randy took Sammy to kindergarten, while I started tidying up, and the kids also helped me. At 9:30 the cleaning lady arrived who comes every few weeks to clean our apartment. I continued tidying up, while the kids were playing until Randy returned from the grocery store run he had done after dropping Sammy off. Then he took them downstairs to play. I continued working on our newsletter until going to the kitchen at about 10:30 to make our soup that would then simmer on the stove. At 11 Randy and the kids came back upstairs, and I did school with them. Today we did the number zero. Emmy was still not very keen on doing school, even though he's so smart, often smarter than his sister. In the end he completed his papers after lots of encouragement from me.
Randy and Sammy returned at 12:45, and we sat down to eat. At 1:30 pm it was nap time. Sammy hasn't actually slept in days, but I still tried. And once again I got Tammy to sleep, which is not that hard, but both boys stayed awake, which meant I did not get a nap in myself.
At 2:45 pm the Mobile Support lady arrived; it had been 2 weeks since her last visit, and we haven't seen her much since our return from the US. And now she's only coming a few more times before the year ends and with that also her service to our family. Sammy was really excited to see her, and they all went downstairs with her to play. That is except for Tammy who was still asleep. Just after 3 pm I woke her up, and once she heard that the lady was here, she got up pretty quickly and went downstairs to join the fun. Randy later told me that they had played pretty wildly.
I myself worked on the newsletter until the lesson I was teaching started at 3:25 pm. I then taught until 4:15 pm. By that time they were supposed to be ready to leave the house, but they weren't quite there yet. We quickly got ready and left the house to all go to the train station. We took the 4:30 train, got some chestnuts, and took the subway for one stop. Sammy was happy that it was a new one. Then we walked to the school. It was raining a little, so we got a little wet.
At 3 pm their music class started. I was the one in the room with the three kids, while Randy waited outside. Sammy was extremely tired after kindergarten and the Mobile Support lady and was just very quiet and too tired and weak to really do anything. Emmy and Tammy were wild as usual, and Emmy was playing a little too rough with two other boys. I had to call his name several times to try to get him to calm down and slow down a little, but it didn't really help. I was glad, when the class was over.
We took the tram and then the 6:23 train home, where we arrived just after 6:30 pm. I went straight to the kitchen to make their dinner. They ate, and then continued in the bathtub. Then we got them ready for bed. I read them some stories and prayed for them, then they went to bed. Sammy was asleep very quickly, and Emmy stayed up surprisingly long. Randy sat down with them, while I got myself something to eat. Then I went back to work. Now it's just after midnight, and it's time to clean up the kitchen before going to bed.
