HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1472. It was 8 am, when Sammy was the first one up; I had set my alarm for 8:40 am, as breakfast ended at 9:30. We got up and got ready and went downstairs to the breakfast room, where we were the only ones. We had breakfast, then returned to the room, where we packed everything up. Randy then loaded everything into the car, while we were waiting in the room.
Just before 10:30 we then drove off to drive the rest of the way to Randy's hometown. This was day 6 of 6 days of driving, with one rest day in between, and thankfully we only had 170 miles to cover today. We made one potty break at a rest area, and I liked the MISSISSIPPI mosaic it had on the wall.
We arrived at Randy's mother's house at 1:15 pm and had lunch together. The kids were happy to be back; Sammy had been saying Randy's daughter's name all morning long. After the meal, they started playing. Just after 2:30 we left to drive the half-mile to Randy's former house that he built where his daughter and family now live. The kids started playing with their kids and enjoying all the toys, while Randy was unloading the car. I then tried to put them down for a nap, but soon gave up. It was already too late, and they were too wound up. At 4:15 pm we left again to return to Randy's mother's house.
As we don't have internet where we sleep, I sat down at the table to do some work, while the kids were playing. At some point we had dinner, and we all enjoyed some good home-made food, the kids eating well. Then I returned to my computer, and the kids to playing. Sammy has really been enjoying playing with the pots and pans in the kitchen, as they are in the bottom cabinet, where he can reach them.
Just before 8:30 pm we left Grandma to return to the house, where we started the process of putting them to bed. By 9:30 they were in bed after a bedtime story and having been prayed for. Sammy fell asleep quickly, Emmy needed the longest. Just before midnight I went to bed as well - that early thanks to not having internet.
