HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1816. Last Sunday we went to church at night. The kids were drawing during worship, then went to the kids' program after half an hour. Unfortunately there was no program and they went to the playground instead. Had we known, we probably wouldn't have gone.
Not much has been going on this week. I've been teaching every day - four hours on Monday, 5 on Tuesday, 3 on Wednesday and 4 today. It's been pretty tiring. And Christine from Caritas who's coming to play with the kids for a few hours for a couple of weeks, has come twice this week and is coming a third time tomorrow. They had the pool set up once to play, as it's very hot, and had lots of fun.
Today I was done teaching at 4 pm and looking forward to a break. This summer has been the hottest ever on record in Vienna, and Emmy wanted to go into the little pool real bad. However, Daddy didn't want to, and so Emmy started crying and pleading for me to come out with them, as he had found out that I was done teaching. I let him cry for a very long time, then just held him, and he quieted down. All three got up even earlier than usual today - on a holiday, of all days, when they didn't have to go to kindergarten. And so Emmy was pretty tired. I told him I was coming to the pool with them under the condition that they were not going into the sand pit. They all put their swimsuits on, and so did I. Then we went outside.
We also had a few spray guns and started playing hard, spraying each other with water as well as chasing each other. We were all doing lots of running and got completely wet. They were having lots of fun. I played for a lot of time, but then I had enough. Emmy wanted to continue playing. After a few more minutes we finally all went inside. Sammy had already gone inside earlier. All the kids have had a light cold, and so have I. Last night Tammy came to my bed crying hard because she couldn't breathe through her nose. Tonight all has been quiet so far.
