Day 1771. I went to bed at my regular time of 2 am last night. Tammy was already in my bed, but then Emmy came. He stayed for a while, then left, then came again, and so it was a while before I finally got to fall asleep.

This morning Sammy was up at his typical early time, even 6 am, and then Emmy was up as well, while Tammy stayed in bed with me longer. I myself got up earlier than usual, even though I was still pretty tired. I spent the rest of the morning doing office work, while the kids were playing and having fun. They are playing really well with Sammy now, and Sammy does a lot of laughing, when he plays with them. He usually play with either Tammy or Emmy. In this picture he was playing with Tammy.

At 1:30 pm we left the house and put the kids into their car seats, which takes some time. Then we started our 17-minute drive to a closeby town to go to an indoor playground. It had rained, but the sun had come out. When we pulled into the parking lot, I recognized it and realized we had gone there last time we were in town, which was two years ago. Our friends were already waiting for us.

We went inside and were happy that Sammy got in free, as well as one adult. We put our shoes into a locker and went in with our socks on. The kids couldn't wait to get started playing. We had planned to eat first, but they'd had some leftovers at the house and were not hungry, so we let them go play.

They went to the trampolin first, as it was the first thing to see. Then they moved on and started climbing up and up. Emmy did really well going up through nets, all the way to the top. Tammy had gone up somewhere else. Then they went on the jumping castle, and Tammy climbed up the volcano and went down the slide. Finally they were ready to use their chips to ride the gocarts and had lots of fun. Emmy drove very well, while Tammy did not push the petal to the metal and was more insecure. Later Randy took Sammy, but needed another kid in the car with him and then walked behind the car to make sure Sammy was not falling out. He had so much fun that he went a few times, but I don't have a picture unfortunately.

I soon sat down by my friends to talk to them, while Randy had Sammy, and the other two kids were off on their own, playing. From time to time they came to our table to drink. Sammy also stayed with us for a while. Then we finally ordered some food, and everybody ate some. Emmy was the one who was gone the most, and even his hair was wet from all the energy he was expending.

What Sammy liked the most besides the gocart, was the slide or sledding incline. Randy sat down on the sled with him and then went down with him. Because he was so heavy, they went a lot faster than the kids. Sammy went down quite a few times.

One time Randy came with all three kids on a big tricycle to our table, which was really cute. But they didn't ride it for that long.

Sammy was getting pretty restless and wanted to go home. We gave him his tablet, but he still wanted to leave. I then put on the "tickle monster" song and started tickling him, making him laugh, so that he was happy again for some time. Tammy and Emmy did not want to leave yet, but then we told them they only had a few more minutes left. At 5 pm we put our shoes back on and left.

It was only just a little more than a quarter hour to drive back to our house. Still, Emmy actually fell asleep, and just before we arrived, Tammy did as well. Only Sammy stayed awake. I got Emmy out of the car and carried him, but Tammy wanted to be carried as well. The landlord heard her cry and came outside and was so kind to carry her upstairs to our apartment. Randy was carrying Sammy.

We were tidying up the apartment a little, as our friends were coming by to pray together with us before our final goodbyes. I also wanted them to meet the landlord, and so that's what they did. She actually invited us in, and we sat down with her to talk a little. I also gave her my book. We had a good conversation, then my friends and I went upstairs to our apartment, where Randy was waiting with the kids.

We sat down and talked a little, then prayed together. Tammy was really tired and preferred to be on  her tablet. Sammy preferred his tablet too, and so it was only Emmy who stayed with us to pray, and he actually spoke a brief prayer of blessing over our friends and then helped pray for healing. I was proud of him. Then we had to say good-bye to our friends for good.

The kids then had some food before it was time for them to shower and get ready for bed. I read them a story, prayed for them, and they actually went to bed at their regular time. Sammy and Tammy fell asleep quickly, but Emmy once again did not fall asleep for the longest time, probably because of the nap in the car.

I then started working on the pictures, and now it's midnight, and I'm the only one up. Tomorrow we have another long day of driving.
