HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1780. This morning Randy was meant to take all three kids, first dropping Sammy off at his kindergarten and then the other two at their summer sports camp. However, Tammy kept saying she was tired and didn't want to get up. I kept trying to get her to get up, but by the time we were ready to leave, it was too late to go through with our plan, as they would not have gotten to their camp by 9 am. And so Randy left with Sammy to take him, while I was the one to take the other two to their camp. We all took our scooters again to get there faster. Today Tammy told me good-bye and went inside the gym, while Emmy just went inside without even saying good-bye.
Just after 9 am I was back home and got ready for my 10 am student. I taught until 11 am, then went downstairs, as I had quite a bit of scanning to do. It's also a few degrees cooler downstairs, which is nice in this heat. At noon Randy left to get Sammy, and I went upstairs to get lunch ready and eat. When Randy and Sammy returned a little later than usual, Randy sat down to eat, and Sammy was also ready for a second lunch. I then went back downstairs to keep working in my office.
I had no more students for the rest of the day which was nice and which allowed me to make good progress with scanning and with office work, though there's always so much more to do. At 3:30 pm Randy left alone to go pick up Tammy and Emmy. I had asked Sammy several times whether he wanted to go with Daddy or stay home with me, and he made it clear that he wanted to stay home with me. He asked for Alexa. Before our trip, it had malfunctioned and I was just getting error messages and couldn't get it to work. I decided to try it one more time before contacting customer support. To my greatest surprise, it actually worked again. Sammy was so very excited and sat down by her to have fun with her. I thought I'd be able to make good progress working, but he constantly needed me.
Randy and the kids returned home later than I had expected after having picked them up myself these past two days. The kids came downstairs right away and started telling me about everything they had done today. Their topics today were gymnastics and coordination. Tammy showed me a somersault, and I was very impressed as she did it perfectly, which was a first. And then she even did a split! Wow! I didn't know she was capable of that! Emmy got on the rings and did all kinds of stuff on them. You would have thought they'd have enough of sports after a full day of sports!
Watching his siblings show off what they can do, Sammy joined in and pushed himself up like in a pushup. Of course we praised him for his achievement.
Just after 6 pm we went upstairs, and I went to the kitchen to start making their dinner, which starts our evening routine. Now it's midnight, and tonight Tammy is still sleeping in her bed, even though it's as hot as last night. I'm sure she'll join me in our bed very shortly.
