HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1765. Yesterday morning Randy took Tammy and Emmy to kindergarten, while Sammy stayed with me. He now always wants to watch videos of him and his siblings, so there's no getting any more sleep for me. Randy returned just before I started teaching at 10 am, and he got Sammy ready to leave with him to go to his horse therapy session. I taught until 11 am, enjoying the quiet in the house being the only one there. Randy and Sammy returned just before noon, and a few minutes later Randy left again to go pick up Tammy and Emmy. And so it was once again Sammy and me, and of course he wanted to watch videos again.
I was glad, when Randy returned with the other kids. It was time for him to get some lunch as well. After he was done eating, he left the house with Sammy to take him to the pediatrician so he could get the medical confirmation that Sammy was over the chickenpox. Unfortunately they had to wait for 2 hours to be seen by a doctor, and Sammy is not able to wait. He screams and screams, but the staff at the doctor's office couldn't care less. They do not give special needs kids any special treatment.
As for me, I went downstairs with Tammy and Emmy and got ready for my 4 pm student. I then taught until 6 pm, which works as Tammy and Emmy can occupy themselves. Randy and Sammy returned at about 5:30 pm, four hours after having left, and they had the paper.
This morning was the first regular morning in a while. Randy left the house with all three kids to take them to their kindergartens, so that I was able to lie back down and get some more sleep. As I was not teaching in the morning, I did not have to set my alarm or get up at a specific time. When I did, Randy was already back. I went downstairs to get all my Mali stuff ready to take with us on our trip tomorrow. Just after noon, Randy left to go pick up Sammy, and I soon went upstairs to cook lunch.
I was cooking, when Randy returned with Sammy at 12:40. Randy turned around to go pick up the other two kids. I finished cooking and ate and gave Sammy some, even though he had already eaten in kindergarten. Then we went downstairs, as I had more work to do - for our trip as well as for my afternoon lessons.
Randy and the kids returned rather late at about 2:30 pm. He ate, while I went downstairs with the kids. At 3 pm I started teaching, and I taught until 5 pm. I was done teaching for good, able to focus on the preparations for our trip. We then went upstairs, and I gave the kids some food to eat. Tammy ate little, and it turned out that she had a fever and was not feeling well. She's been coughing a little. Let's hope it passes quickly, and that it doesn't get passed on to the others. It would not be much fun to travel with sick kids.
Now It's after midnight, and we haven't even opened any suitcases to pack them. Sammy is going to kindergarten in the morning, then the rest of us pick up the rental car. Back home, we'll be packing and loading up the car, then Randy is going to get Sammy, and once we've eaten and everything is packed, we're gonna start our drive to the other end of Austria. Please pray for us.
