HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 1516. Yesterday was a stay-at-home day. Randy took Sammy to the kindergarten in the morning, while I did school with the other two. Tammy is excited to do school, while Emmy doesn't want to do it at all. In the afternoon I taught for two hours, while the kids were having fun playing downstairs.
This morning Randy took Sammy to kindergarten again, while I had a student at 9 am. After I was done with my student, I did school with Tammy only. Then she also played and watched videos, like her brother.
Just before noon Randy and Sammy returned, and we sat down to eat a few minutes later. After lunch, we had to go to bed a half hour earlier than usual, at 1 pm, as we had to leave the house at 2:15 pm. I did what has worked a few times and put Sammy to bed, then climbed up to lie down between Tammy and Emmy. I was hoping Sammy was falling asleep, and encouraged him to, saying if he wanted to come with us, he needed to sleep. Soon Tammy and Emmy were asleep, but not Sammy. I lay down next to him to try to get him to sleep, but to no avail. I finally left, and Sammy never fell asleep.
I lay down myself and got a few minutes of shut-eye. At 2 pm my alarm went off, waking Emmy up right away, and I got up to get everything and everyone ready to leave the house. It was hard to wake up Tammy who was just crying and crying because of it. Only after I had held her for a few minutes did she calm down.
Tammy, Emmy and I left at 2:15 pm, while Randy and Sammy stayed home. Normally they would have come as well and gone to the library, while the other two are in class. We took the 2:30 train, then the subway, and walked to the school. It was a very windy day, and dark clouds were in the sky, but it was warm again. We went to the classroom and had to wait a few minutes until the teacher arrived. I went into the locker room with them, put their light coats and shoes into a locker, and said good-bye.
I had brought my computer along and went to the ground floor to go to the library. I sat down at a desk and started working. When it was time to go pick them up, I packed up and went back upstairs. I helped them put their shoes and jackets on, and off we went. We rode the tram for two stops (pictures) and went into a grocery store to buy a few items. Then we walked the rest of the way to the train station and took the 4:23 pm train home. While we were on the train for those few minutes, Randy called because Sammy was crying for us. After we got off and started walking towards our building, we suddenly saw Randy and Sammy. Sammy was so very happy to see us (pictures). We walked back home together, with my carrying Sammy. Randy then took them all downstairs, while I got ready for my first student at 5 pm. Before I could start my second student 6 pm, Randy and the kids were already back upstairs.
I finished at 6:50 and went to the kitchen to warm up some leftovers for the kids, and then make their bread with salami and cut up fruit for them. They ate some, then continued in the bathtub. Then we got them ready for bed. Before I could even start reading the Bible stories to them, Sammy was already asleep. Good thing I had prayed for him early, knowing how tired he was. After the stories, I prayed for the other two and put them to bed. Emmy sleeps on top for his nap, but not during the night. Randy sat down by them, while I went to the kitchen to get something to eat, and went to work after having eaten. Now it's after midnight, and I hope to go to bed soon, after having cleaned up the kitchen.
